a good friend will be missed

sadly, i'm shortly about to end a relationship that really hasn't lasted very long at all. you see, i got this bottle of small-batch Bookers from wendel late last october and we became very good friends. however, it was a one-sided relationship entirely...all i did was take take take. well, the takin' almost done, but it's provided me with great relaxation and time to ponder. these friends aren't meant to stay, but to flow in and out of our lives to make us reflect. we'll see ya around again sometime mr. bookers; now back to the house blends.

:hat tip to wendel:

bad liver, must punish the liver

i tell ya what, when i drank cheap beer and crappy wine, my liver hated me. now that i drink libations without preservatives such as guinnes and high quality bourbons, it's so much happier and i never have a hangover.

i drank a lesser quality of wine the other night and i could tell i was feeling sluggish from it, which doesn't even happen after 3 or 4 guinnesses. the weird thing now is, i don't get a buzz anymore at all...i think that's just your body's way of saying quarter beer night and well drinks are not for you.
