This irrational fear is stimulating oil prices higher on a daily basis without backing. Recent developments in Venuzuela (Hugo Chaves faced a no-confidence vote, but beat it) had nothing to do with capacity for oil output. Output cut from 1.8 mbpd to 1.2 mbpd in Iraq had nothing to do with it...a planned cut so they could more easily secure the pipeline didn't matter because it's not enough volume to affect the world output. What we have here is futures traders under fear...fear that the futures prices will go higher so they buy up all they can even at the current high prices, well, that limits supply in the futures, driving up the price.
Come on folks, cool off already. I understand demand is high, but it's somewhat artificial and the demand of growing asian markets was understood and planned for. We need a few of the large houses to fold their arms today and not buy.

Listen here mullahs; the only think keeping the Isralies from growing hot mushrooms all over your country IS the United States. You may believe that a force of 200,000 would be easily overrun, but that's only because you've been puffing your chest in your own mirror for so long you've begun to believe your own bravado.
Watch the news a little bit...we're pulling forces out of the far corners of the world because we've finally figured out we can run most wars out of Whiteman AFB and we no longer need long build ups to position men and material. If you've got a globe, you may want to check it...we've got two of your borders to ourselves and allies on the remainders.
So, play your cards if you think you have a hand.
