Um, yeah, whatever.
U.S. Sen. John Kerry, D- Mass., who was in town Sunday to help Gov. Jennifer Granholm campaign for her re-election bid, took time to take a jab at the Bush administration for its lack of leadership in the Israeli-Lebanon conflict.
"If I was president, this wouldn't have happened," said Kerry during a noon stop at Honest John's bar and grill in Detroit's Cass Corridor.

Lebanon
If Lebanon cannot police it's own country, then it probably isn't a soverign country. Every country has an army; it's own or someone else's.

In 1969, Senator Edward Kennedy drives his car off a bridge on Chappaquiddick Island, Massachusetts. Although his passenger, Mary Jo Kopechne, drowns; Kennedy fails to report the accident until the following morning.
Up until that time, it was widely regarded that he was the Democrat front-runner for the Presidency.
Where would this world be if it weren't for a drunks self-sabotage?
