Bush Clan "Throws The Goat"

President Bush's "throw the goat" salute got lost in translation by many, when shocked people interpreted his hand gesture during his inauguration as a salute to Satan.

What many didn't know, however, was that the hand gesture, and similar ones given by family members, was actually one of support and anticipation for Ronnie James Dio, who attended the inaugguration and performed for the First Family and a few of their close metal head friends Thursday night after the formal innaugural ceremonies were over.

"After all the pomp and circumstance all day, and those boring inaugural balls, my wife and I just knew we had to cut loose," said the President on the morning after the event. "So we called up our friend Ronnie and asked him to get his band together for us. I've never been much for ballroom dancing, but slam dancing in a mosh pit, now there's a good time."

"Many might think I wouldn't like a man like Ronnie James Dio," the President continued, "but nothing could be further from the truth. He's certainly the king of rock and roll. He has a sacred heart and, like me, is hungry for heaven. Whenever I listen to him, I like to stand up and shout, and I'm certainly starstruck in his presence. When there's lightning, it always brings me down, but his music hits me straight through the heart. He's definitely a rainbow in the dark."
