Here's more info (as linked in the article above), with an interesting tool with which you can 'read' the data on your driver's license...
Using the tool above, I found out that my name, birthday, driver's license number (thankfully different than my SS#), address, height and weight are included... and perhaps more (the reader software isn't perfect, and wasn't able to pick up all the data from the "2D" encoded strip).
