RIP Evel
This is the end of an era. Evel Knievel, the epitome of motorcycle daredevils and inspiration for perhaps the coolest toy ever, has died of natural causes.
Evel was perhaps the last of the great showmen. There may be greater daredevils, and his outfits may look funny to the modern eye, but I predict that none will match the mass appeal he had at his peak.
